Mike's cross-industry knowledge is an advantage for document examination.
Examination of handwriting is the study of variability of a person's writing. This is the aspect of document examination that makes it a science. A document examiner determines the amount of variability in a person's writing across many samples of the writing. Frequently mathematical techniques are applied to determine this variability. As a Certified Quality Engineer, Mike studied the science of variability and applies this to the analysis of handwriting and documents.
Many documents are created on a computer then printed on a laser, inkjet or other type of printer. As a Certified Information Systems Auditor,Mike applies his knowledge of information systems and technology to the analysis of documents.
